Keith Rodgers set up Pelican Bridge in response to requests from clients of Webster Buchanan Research, the market research and consulting company that he co-founded in 2001. Webster Buchanan’s clients were looking for a new kind of marketing agency – one that combined a high-quality PR and marketing team with an in-depth understanding of their products, services, markets and customers’ needs.
Bringing together colleagues that he’s known for more than 15 years, Keith saw the opportunity to build a team of marketing experts that would work closely with Webster Buchanan’s analysts to deliver better quality services. And he decided to do it through a ‘virtual company’, unencumbered by big office overheads.
This is where the concept of ‘knowledge-based marketing services’ was born.
